Can’t Uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus – How To Totally Remove CA Etrust Antivirus?

My mom has a PC running Windows XP. She has been trying to remove CA Etrust Antivirus and install McAfee on a desktop computer but to no avail. The first step I take is to uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus with Windows utility:
1. Reinstall the CA Etrust Antivirus on computer.
2. Uninstall CA Etrust Antivirus with Add or Remove Programs on Control Panel.
3. Highlight the CA Etrust Antivirus icon to make the button of Change or Removevisible.
4. Then click the “Remove” button to start the removal
5. Follow and confirm the onscreen steps to finish the removal
