How Do You Perform A Thorough Uninstall of System Mechanic?

system-mechanicDo you have any luck in uninstalling System Mechanic? My son had been using System Mechanic on a Dell Dimension 4600 Windows XP for more than a year and downloading updates up to 9.0 when something happened make the icon in the Windows system tray at bottom disappear, so he can’t access SM that way, nor can I get into it by clicking on the desktop icon. He gets error messages such as “Resource HP_TOOLBAR_BACKGROUND_RIGHT not found” and “Access violation at address 134E74C8 in module ‘SysMech7.exe” The program continues to work well enough, but he can’t get further updates, nor can I get into the program to change any settings. The thing is now like a runaway train that we can’t control. At this point, we just want it off the computer.

More issue on removing System Mechanic
System Mechanic 8 (SM8) wasn’t running correctly and was causing all sorts of problems on my friend’s PC. For instance, shortly after SM8 was installed, the PC would either take forever to load to the desktop, or the desktop would never load up. So she booted in Safe Mode (which worked fine) and removed SM8 from the msconfig startup menu. This allowed the PC to boot in normal mode just fine, but she was unable to uninstall main SM8 from Add/Remove Programs. It errors out.

Advice on uninstalling System Mechanic
The Iolo tech support is said not to be very helpful. Their web help menu advises in its uninstall instructions that first one should close the Popup Blocker, System Guard, System Health, etc. as well as any scheduled maintenance programs by right-clicking their corresponding icons in the Windows system tray before uninstalling it with the Programs and Features in the Windows Control panel. Since the SM icon in the system tray has gone missing, user can’t of course do those things.

My opinion on System Mechanic removal
Despite the fact System Mechanic is a utility program that scans your computer for errors and repairs them, you should uninstall System Mechanic if you are not able to use it or intend to use a different utility program. I’ve come across some users’ reviews of SM online. It seems that the best recommendation to stop its performance and useless existence is applying an automated software removal with Perfect Uninstaller.
Force Uninstall Malware Protection
A running Perfect Uninstaller is well-known utility program for forcibly removing System Mechanic. It also does the same kinds of functions to get rid of useless program like removing Webroot SecureAnywhere.

The error message I get when i try to install system mechanic tells me that there is an error in ff_kernel23 or some number that I don’t remember right now. I assume this is part of the ff_kerneldeint file. What does it do? How do i fix it? Can I delete it with your pro?
