How Do You Uninstall A Program on Windows

For Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
1. Shut down the program.
2. From Start, click Control Panel and then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Click the program in the application list, and then click Remove.
4. Choose Remove, and then click Next.
5. Click OK.
6. Click Finish.
For Windows Vista
1. Shut down the program.
2. From Start, click Control Panel and then double-click Programs and Features.
3. Select Uninstall a program.
4. Click the program, and then click Change/Remove.
5. On the InstallShield Wizard window, select the Remove option and click Next.(optional)
6. On the Confirm Uninstall window, click OK.
7. On the InstallShield Wizard window, click Finish.

Macintosh – the uninstaller is in Applications/Utilities/….. Note: You CANNOT uninstall by dragging the applications to the trash, you must use the uninstaller.

Note:
If the program that you want to uninstall is not listed, it might not have been written for this version of Windows. To uninstall the program, click here to apply for a tool to remove it.

If you want to completely remove the unwanted application from your PC, check the information that came with the program and then delete them in from the Program files.

Sometimes, if the application comes back itself, you should remove the registry entries of it. Click here to learn how to do it.
