Kaspersky will not start properly and a window “Cannot find CFP.exe Critical Error ” keeps launching on Windows startup. Comodo is an awesome product that I highly recommend.
But, a couple of weeks ago I turned on the TV to see a black screen with white lettering (floating around) “Windows could not start this screen saver”.
I’ve been in the IT field since the 80s, but haven’t seen that particular error. So of course I googled it. I found that the problem was related to something on the startup tab of msconfig. Which left me scratching my head. Can you help?

I’ve found that this Comodo Internet security “attaches” itself to other devices… like your NIC and any “tunneling” software… I’m in the process of removing and reinstalling the software for my tunneling program and Network card… so far, removing and reinstalling the tunnel was sucessful… tomorrow I will try the same with the network card and see if I have success… I’ve had a terrible experience with this piece of software and even a worse one trying to get it off my brand-new 2-week old system. Once it’s gone I will not be returning to any Comodo product.
