My fellow roommate has a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 installed and running on my present computer. She wants to switch computers and would like to uninstall PSE-10 so that she can reinstall this copy on her new computer. How would you do this uninstall?

Uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 10

  1. Click the Start menu, and then choose Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. Select the version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 that you want to uninstall.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Click “Yes” to uninstall in the dialog box asking you if you really want to remove the application from your computer.

This should have uninstalled Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 as stated, but if you can still see “Adobe Photoshop Elements 10” folder at C:/Program Files, it means this program isn’t completely removed. What happens a lot is that the uninstalling simply fails. Because Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 leaves files in your registry, and they need to be deleted too in order to complete the uninstalling.

Besides, even though all versions of Adobe Photoshop Elements can be installed independently, any installation of Adobe Photoshop Elements doesn’t uninstall anything from your computer. This is one of the very common assumptions when folks install newer version on top of older one.

So, we reach a conclusion that the Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 has to delete in a way provided by a specific removal tool like Perfect Uninstaller. With Perfect Uninstaller working on your computer, all you need to do is simply locating and removing Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 through the display panel.

There are only a few steps involved in this process and you don’t need to worry about the following problems after the deletion. This way, you can also easily get rid of Adobe Illustrator CS4 that misbehaved on your system.
