Nero General Clean Tool – How To Completely Uninstall Nero

I am having trouble when trying to uninstall Nero from my computer as it always asked to insert a disk which I have no idea about. I went to search the internet for some solutions but failed and only to leave it there. The Nero program is currently causing performance problems, registry errors, and instability issues among other problems. So, it is extremely important to safely and cleanly uninstall it instantly.

In today’s age of gigantic, bloated software programs, to uninstall unwanted program, many people choose the option of Add/Remove Programs (or Programs and Features if you are using Windows 7 or Vista) from the Windows Control Panel. However, this option is not always available when Nero is corrupted on your computer.

For me, I choose to cleanup registry keys of Nero. I am sure that there is none of file associated locating on my computer. Regarding to the registry, go to the Run => Regedit to delete/disable the registry key relating to program. But it is very difficult to finish this step for me who is not professional on computers. Some applications have their own uninstall program, which can usually be found on the Start menu under Program Files or All Programs. I navigate to the program you want to remove and look for an uninstall option. When there is no uninstall program listed on the Start menu, I check in the actual folder where the program is located, which will usually be in the Program Files folder on your C: drive. I find a file named uninstall.exe and run it.

When no uninstall program is available, I have to reinstall the Nero application with the original software CD and make sure it is in the same location as I did the first time and then check if any of the uninstall options discussed above are available.

What do I do when none of these above options are working? The best option at this point is to find a third-party uninstaller program that’s able to remove the Nero programs from your PC in the most effective way. In that manner, a third-party uninstaller program should be reliable with an effective “forced uninstall” feature.
