Thoroughly uninstall Yahoo! Messenger

Yahoo! Messenger is a program that allows us to chat with friends at ease and fully enjoy stealth settings, make PC calls, share file/photo and so on, which makes our life more and more inconvenient and colorful.

However, when searching the internet, we will find that it also becomes a headache for many people to thoroughly uninstall it from their computer. Once it is installed on the computer, it will modify the PC registry so most of the time it won’t be completely uninstalled, even though by the standard Add/Remove Programs. It will still function well after a uninstall process from the Add/Remove Programs.

Uninstall Yahoo! Messenger with Perfect Uninstaller.
Step 1: Make sure that no Yahoo! Messenger in the right bottom of the desktop by clicking “Exit” to quit it.

Step 2: Run Perfect Uninstaller.
Step 3: Locate and highlight Yahoo! Messenger in the “Display Name” list window.
Step 4: Click Uninstall button to begin the removal.

Step 5:  Follow the on-screen prompts to finish the uninstall process.

Most of the time, the Yahoo! Software Update and Yahoo! Toolbar will come together with the installation of Yahoo! Messenger(see screenshot  above). To uninstall them, you can also follow the steps above to uninstall them from your computer.
