My mom was looking for someone to help her out with this problem. She recently renewed her 2008 Trend Micro Antivirus online. When she renewed it, they send her a link to download a file called TAV16.exe. This allows her to install the program and run it on her system. Now here is the problem, she run the file and halfway through the installation this prompt comes up
“The software on your computer has already been installed on your comp. To continue with installation you must restart your computer (The setup program will setup automatically). To restart now click Yes. To restart later and cancel the installation for now, click No.” After this long message coming out, she clicked yes to see if it works and after rebooting the installer runs and this message keeps coming up again and again in the middle of the installation. Things I have done to try to solve the problem, uninstalling all files of trend antivirus and its components and reinstalling it. But the same problem keeps coming up. Do you have any idea on completely removing this Trend Micro Antivirus?
