visual-studio-2010-professionalThis week has been nothing but hassles for my cousin after upgrading to Visual Studio 2010 Professional. After a few days running VS2010, my cousin was happy with the installation so he decided to uninstall Visual Studio 2008 from his computer. The removal went fine and he even bounced his PC just to be on the safe side. When he is going to be doing Visual Basic programming, the macro VS2010 just sits there like it’s going to hang. Eventually he noticed a background popup box in the taskbar. He switched to it and saw that VS2010 was complaining “cannot find one or more component.” I even tried doing a Repair from the installation setup. But nothing helps.

Other issues related to Visual Studio 2010 Professional
I got Visual Studio 2010 Professional and had the beta installed way back when. I uninstalled that (or at least I think I did) and now. I went into control panel to uninstall the beta, and it said it was already uninstalled. So I ran the install for Visual Studio, and it said “Please remove all the programs listed below: – Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional Beta 2″. So I went back into control panel and uninstalled everything Visual Studio 2010. I ran the install again, and it said the same thing. So I was thinking, even though it’s uninstalled, it may have glitches and didn’t tell my computer to edit whatever file says if something’s still installed. So my question is how do I fully uninstall and reinstall Visual Studio 2010 Professional?

The final solution for Visual Studio 2010 Professional
punext-step
Despite the fact that Studio 2010 seemed completely unaffected by the uninstall of VS2008, I can’t find it in the list of programs in control panel, and I cannot find the destination of where its installed in. Finally, I got a reasonable idea that comes with an uninstaller tool online. I have it installed and running. After that, I drag the icon of Visual Studio 2010 Professional on its display panel and then there is a miracle: the Perfect Uninstaller lists the main directory of Visual Studio 2010 Professional and have the related files removed all at once. It is amazing and it works in removing rogue Alfa Defender Pro too!

I’ve been having problems installing Visual Basic Express 2010. Every time I run the setup it says I must first uninstall the Visual Studio Professional 2010 Beta, but I already uninstalled that a long time ago, I’ve also tried looking for and deleting any traces of it. I finally deleted it with your program.Thanks.
