winfax-pro-10.04When I tried to use the Symantec uninstalling tool to remove Norton Antivirus 2005, the Tool indicates that it cannot continue because WinFax Pro 10.0 is installed, and cannot continue. I tried uninstalling WinFax Pro through Windows but that failed. I then tried to manually uninstall it, using Symantec’s procedure. That has also failed. How can people uninstall the program and stop such annoying error pop-ups?

A message that now appears right after installation of WinFax Pro 10.0 begins is, “Setup has determined that a previous installation of WinFax has been uninstalled. There has been no reboot since. Please reboot…” However, this computer has been rebooted hundreds of times since the incomplete removal but when I did it again. Same result.
